Topical study of Babylon summarized

I have learned much through the years but I find my attempts to convey the content difficult to understand. If you have questions about my conclusions send me an e-mail: scottrode@gmail.com and I will do my best to respond.

Babylon is not a geographical location in the sense most biblical scholars interpret it. Prophecies of the fall of Babylon refer to the destruction of materialism and confusion surrounding the revealed word of God.

If the love of money is the root of all evil, evil can be removed by destroying money. That is what brings the fall of Babylon. All the government guarantees and insurance will not save the system. It will not save you temporally. All of those things represent the arm of flesh and will be removed as a means of support. The sooner you turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and exercise faith in him the more likely you are to find both temporal and spiritual salvation. (1 Nephi 14:7)
